Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Tradeaholiks (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses and protects your information when you use tradeaholiks.com and our software, including the Easy Journal.

Information we collect

• Account information — your name and email address, and a password that is stored securely in a scrambled (hashed) form. We never store your password in plain text.
• Purchase information — payments are processed by Gumroad, our payment provider. We receive confirmation of your purchase and the email associated with it, but we never receive or store your full card details.
• Licence & app information — your licence key and a non-identifying fingerprint of the computer your licence is activated on, used only to enforce your licence (one computer per key).
• Messages you send us through the contact form or by email.
• Essential technical data needed to run the site, such as a login session cookie.

How we use your information

• To create and manage your account.
• To deliver, activate and verify your licence.
• To provide support and respond to your messages.
• To send essential service emails (email verification, your licence key, and important product or security updates).

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use advertising trackers.

Service providers we share data with

We use a small number of trusted providers to run the service. Each only processes the data needed to do their job:

• Supabase — stores your account and handles secure login.
• Gumroad — our payment provider; takes payment for purchases and acts as the Merchant of Record. See Gumroad’s privacy policy.
• Resend — sends our emails (verification, licence keys).
• Cloudflare — hosts and protects the website.

Cookies

We use a single essential cookie to keep you logged in. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

Data retention

We keep your account and licence information while your account is active. You can ask us to delete your account and associated data at any time.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you. To do so, contact us using the details below. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles and, where it applies to you, the GDPR.

Security

Passwords are hashed, connections to the site use HTTPS encryption, and access to systems is restricted. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

Children

Our products are not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
